We’re looking for a talented and versatile Junior WordPress Website Creator to join the Westbrook Agency team, working on an in-house at our base in Ilkley, West Yorkshire or on a hybrid basis semi-remotely.

You have experience of working with WordPress, building your own, fully responsive site templates from concept to go-live. You should be proficient in web development technologies and standards such as html, css, javascript and the LAMP stack to build great looking, effective web sites and web applications. Working across a wide range of projects and clients, building sites from our creative concepts and working across existing sites, you should have a fine eye for detail and a passion to make your work the best it can be.

You have experience working on Apple Macs, a good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator & Photoshop essential, AfterEffects useful. You will be expected to present a portfolio to reflect this.

You will be supported by the the Creative Lead, taking projects from concept through to delivery. You’ll need to be hands-on and not afraid to voice your opinion and get stuck in. As we work in a collaborative, open environment, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved on most Westbrook projects. You’ll be involved on a range of national and international brand and creative projects across a broad range of sectors.

You will be expected to be able to interpret a brief, work to tight timescales and have a keen eye for detail. As a small team we all work very supportively together however you will need to be able to work well individually and under pressure.

You are also smart, prompt & dedicated with a desire to learn. improve and better yourself.
